2015 Volkswagen Tiguan
From The Car Connection:
The Tiguan is Volkswagen’s smaller SUV, slotting in below the Touareg. It’s on the small side for a compact two-row crossover, but it performs well and is wrapped in conservative styling that has aged gracefully. However, the Tiguan is not stunning or exceptional in any way. It won’t win any awards for its interior packaging, price tag, or tech features.
The auto world is in Mild Freakout Mode over the soon-to-arrive Tesla Model X, but Tesla Motors isn’t content to rest on its buzzing laurels. Yesterday, the company — or rather, its CEO Elon Musk — wanted to remind Planet Earth that there’s another Tesla model in the works.
Until recently, anyone looking for design excitement in the mid-size sedan arena was sure to be unimpressed. But over the past several years, two models that bring some much-needed flair to the segment are the Ford Fusion and the Mazda 6.
2017 Jaguar F-Pace
From Motor Authority:
Jaguar’s new F-Pace is less than two weeks away from its world debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show but the British automaker has given us a tantalizing first look at the small, sporty crossover SUV. The single shot and accompanying video only reveal the side profile but already we can tell that the F-Pace is shaping up to be one stunning vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz’s sexy new C-Class Coupe and its high-performance C63 variant from Mercedes-AMG will arrive in showrooms early next year. However, other markets will receive the vehicles shortly after their debut this month at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.
Bentley’s new Bentayga debuting at this month’s 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show isn’t only going to be the most luxurious SUV on the market; it will the fastest too. Bentley has confirmed today that its SUV will have a top speed of 187 mph.
2016 Scion iA drive event, Philadelphia area, Sept 2015
From Green Car Reports:
The 2016 Scion iA is a four-door subcompact sedan that’s Scion’s first new vehicle since the ill-fated and now departed iQ minicar. One of two new vehicles for what tends to be termed “Toyota’s beleaguered Scion brand,” it’s a fresh new entry with stellar fuel economy.
The event that began as National Plug-In Day is now entering its second year as National Drive Electric Week, and organizers say this year’s will be bigger than ever. Every year, advocacy group Plug-In America collaborates with the Sierra Club, the Electric Auto Association, and various smaller local groups to host a variety of activities that raise awareness of plug-in cars.
One of the most contentious points in coverage of electric-car maker Tesla Motors is its financial performance. On the one side, analysts and naysayers note that the company continues to lose money.
